As an Engineer & Producer John has always enjoyed working with new artists. He also helped craft the songs and style that lead to deals and subsequent success for Jermaine Stewart, Bros, Connor Reeves and The Beloved.

In 1991 John took on the role of Manager when he discovered "The dance band of the 90's" Sunscreem in a club in Chelmsford. Six months later, after a series of gigs and showcases, the band were snapped up by Sony S2 and had many hits, including three US No1 dance records and won various awards around the world.

John also worked closely with Simon Cowell co-producing hits for Sally Anne Marsh "In The Summertime', 'Windmills of your mind'.

Following the international chart hits of Sunscreem he signed alternative rock act Apes Pigs & Spacemen (MFN), singer songwriter & the voice of BT's hits Jan Johnston (CBS, A&M), Eclectic acoustic duo Pooka (Atlantic, Island), Award winning Emo act INME (MFN, BMG) and singer songwriter Rachel Mari Kimber (V2). But it is with the mainstream rock band Stereophonics (V2), that John achieved enormous success. Taking them from a small club in South Wales to arena tours and huge headlining events at Morfa Stadium, Donnington, Slane Castle and Cardiff's Millenium Stadium as well as headlines at Reading, Glastonbury and V Festivals. Stereophonics sold more than 9 million records in eight years under John's management. More recently their 'Greatest Hits album was one of the big sellers of 2008/9.

Following his departure from Stereophonics drummer Stuart Cable, under John's management made a significant career change and became a multi BAFTA award winning TV Presenter and highly successful Radio DJ. He had No1 rated shows on Kerrang Radio, highly popular Classic Rock shows on the BBC and one of the most successful shows on the now defunct XFM South Wales.  RIP 07/06/10
